Batman Movie

Before watching the movie Batman I had many expectations. I knew that the movie was going to be an action movie and there would be bad guys and one man will have to save innocent people. I expected that there would be lots of explosions and gun shots. All my expectations were meet except when the end of the movie came.I had no clue what was going to happen and what happened at the end was very unexpected for me because i thought that the joker dies but he doesn’t. The story was very well and interesting. it is a type of movie that you really enjoy. The joker was very well played and it felt so real the way he acted. The joker really played a hit in the movie and i was very amazed how crazy he is. Directing was very good. The movie was very well made and it couldn’t have been made better. i would recommend this movie for people 15 and over because the part that the joker plays is not a good influence on children. Other than that it is a very good movie for people looking for a very good storyline with non-stop action.

Does tchnology create lazy students?

Yes technology creates lazy students in very big ways and not only students, all people in this world. When are parents were small and they would have to do a project they would have to go to a library and read many books to find the right information they need. Today we just go on the computer and type what we want and with a touch of a button we ave all the info we need. It makes us lazy because we let it do all the work for us. we sit at are computers, use automatic and voice dial on phones and remotes for T.V., instead of farming, manual dialing, walking to T.V., etc… It changed are life to the point till we don’t excersice or go outside and play anymore because we rather sit in front of the game boy, and playstation, etc… Today you can do many things with technology that you couldn’t do many years ago. We now live in a world that without technology we probably think we would not survive because everything we do is going to be done with our hands. Before the dishwasher was invented we used to clean our dishes and dry them with our hands. Now you take all the dishes you need to wash and put them in the dish washer and it drys it for you also. While it does that you are able to save time but it also shows how lazy we are. We are all lazy today and technology makes our life easier

but also unhealthy. I am a lazy person and usually try and do everything i can using teechnology but when its time not to use it you cant depend on technology.

My Thoughts On 2010 Winter Olympics

I think that Vancouver is the perfect place for next years 2010 winter Olympics. Vancouver is a very beautiful place and is very exciting to visit. The most exciting part for me about these Olympics is the world cup of hockey. I hope team Canada will bring home the gold. There will be lots of other sports such as curling, alpine skiing, figure skating , speed skating, snowboarding and etc… All these sports are great but i only watch and care about hockey because it is my all time favorite sport. We should be proud that the 2010 winter Olympics is being done in our country Canada. I have a feeling that it is going to be amazing. These Olympics will attract many tourists to our country. I read that people were protesting against the Olympics. I don’t understand? Whats the point protesting against the Olympics, and trying to put the torch out? The Olympics is such a beautiful time where friends and families get together to watch world wide sports and cheer for their countries hoping that they will bring home the gold medal. I find that here is nothing wrong with the Olympics and people shouldn’t protest. They should be happy to have the Olympics coming to Vancouver. This will make their city look very good and will probably help their economy rise. I hope that one day the Olympics will come to Montreal,Quebec. I think that that would be very cool because I can go watch the hockey games and cheer for team Canada. Besides that I think that the 2010 Olympics Vancouver is going to be a blast.

The media has a big amount of effect on a teenagers life. In a teenagers life the media revolves all around them. We all buy magazines and we would all love to be on the computer all day long if we could. We all love going to the movies and watch our favorite actor in a new movie. I believe that famous actors and singers should help kids stay in school buy showing them how important it is to have an education in life. They could make movies on how important it is to stay in school or they can write songs about it. When teens look up to a specific person they try and be like them or they try and do everything they have ever done in their life. If they see that their favorite person is wearing Parasuco jeans they will wear Parasuco jeans to. So if they see that most celebrities finished high school and got themselves a good education they will realize that could get an education to. Also if more people would make commercials that are making kids realize that without an education in life you cant get anywhere today it might wake them up abit. I learned that education is very important in are life because i think of it like this NO EDUCATION = NO CAREER = NO MONEY = NO NOTHING!

Sometimes the students don’t realize what good could come out of working hard because it is such a struggle for them to succeed. That is why I believe that if there told that someone they look up to also graduated high school, then maybe, they will realize they can too.

5 ) Plumbing: Today people don’t realize that a long time ago their toilet consisted of an outhouse, in the city, or a bucket . Now we have a system that allows us to live in a house that does not smell bad.

6 ) The computer: The computer is one of the greatest inventions in the world of all time because of all the amazing things you can do on it such as using the internet, music, edit things and control things.

7 ) Cars: Amazing invention used for transportation. Cars are usful because it helps you get from one place to another faster than when you have a bike or a horse. It is even able to bring you to your destination in bad weather.

8 ) Cell Phones: They are the best invention used for excommunication because it is wireless and you can fit it in your pocket so you can all call or use it.

Websites are based on something that will make the user go on it for how go0d the website is. My favorite website is nhl.com. I’m always on it because it tells me everything I need to know about hockey. There is not one single peace of information missing. The site is so organized that i always find what I am looking for. Its very flashy to. You can check scores, standings, schedules, news, teams, players and stats. Also at the top of the page theres all the nhl teams and when you click on the team it sends you directly to the team site so you don’t even have to type it in the address bar. They have live game scores and you can listen to it on the radio from your pc. This site is so good that I use it as my home page so whenever I

The quote I chose from Obama’s speech is “Americans… still believe in an America where anythings possible – they just don’t think their leaders do.” I found that this was a very interesting quote that he said because it really makes you think a lot about what he meant. I think this quote means that people that live in America believe that miracles are possible and that this change is for the better and it’s the leader that will guide Americans to live in a better place. The people in America voted for Obama because they believe Obama will lead the Nation to the greatest time ever in History. They wanted change. Obama now believes more than ever that everything is possible because he made History. A first Black man to become President of the US marked History forever. Obama is very charismatic and a great public speaker. He touches people with his quotes and choice of words he uses. He has people believe in him that he can bring a better change in America. Whenever Obama speaks, people listen and have faith that he will make a difference for the better. Usually leaders are very confident and believe that everything is possible when they govern but in this case what Obama is trying to say is the the whole population of America (the Americans) believe in their country (America) where anything is possible. This quote says it all! The confidence the Americans have in Americans and the faith they have in their Leader is a great force. I hope Obama can deliver as he preaches so beautifully.

My thoughts on Christmas Commercialization?

In my opinion, yes its true Christmas has become commercialized. It is now a time of making money and spending money. For many people, Christmas means a sense of obligation to spend money in order to have a meaningful celebration. So the more money you spend, the more fun you have. We need to remember that Christmas is a time for us to get together and celebrate the birth of Jesus. When I watch tv or read the newspaper and see advertisement or Christmas commercials I don’t really find it ruins Christmas spirit even though there are stores out there that are trying to make lots of money off of you by giving us good prices and special offers we can’t refuse. And yes we do fall for these commercials but who cares because in the end whats important is that we are all together celebrating with our family and friends. If you think about it Christmas commercials are good for kids because kids love to open gifts and when they see something they want on tv they point and tell their parents ” I want that for Christmas” and then their parents go get it for them. I remember when I was a kid and I used to see something I want on tv and tell my parents thats what I want. I was brought up with good values and up until today I continue to share, give and thank Jesus for all the sacrifices he did for us and only wish for good health, love and happiness. Santa always brings us beautiful gifts for Christmas and that’s ok as long as we demonstrate good values!

What I think of our government in power today

In my opinion if we elected Harper as government we must give him the chance to prove himself and govern. By letting in a coalition government would be a terrible mistake. Harper needs to concentrate on the Global Crisis that we are faced with. He needs to help the economic condition right now! This is what his priority should be. By closing down the Parliament until January was a bad move in my opinion because the government should be strategically planning to making the economy stronger not shutting down Parliament. The only thing that the three leaders have gotten themselves is an extended Christmas vacation, while the rest of the country is trying to figure out how to give their family some kind of Christmas with the possibility of losing their jobs hanging over their head. I certainly hope these clowns use the time granted to them to do something more constructive about the state of our country then the political crap that’s been going on so far. Stephen Harper should never have asked for prorogue. He is finding any way to remain in power no matter what the cost. Not facing parliament now and throwing focusing away from the economic situation is bad for Canada.

Everyone likes or watches sports all over the world. Everyone enjoys playing a sport but not everyone becomes a professional athlete. The main reason why people like watching sports is for the entertainment. Watching sports games are very exiting because you never know what to expect. One second a team is winning and then another second and the whole game turns around. When you have spare time or you are very bored there is nothing better to watch than an exciting sports game that will keep you entertained. People like watching sports because they might want to keep track of their team or their favorite player. A big reason why people like watching sports is because they support their country. When there is a sports game on T.V most people would call their friends to come over and watch the game all together. They would bet, drink and have a great and exiting time with their friends. People would rather watch sports then go to the game is because the tickets are very expensive and people do not want to travel and go crazy just to watch a game. There are so many people at the game and they do not want to be crowded so they stay home and relax wile they have a good time watching the game. Watching sports brings people together in so many ways. I enjoy watching sports. My favorite sports are Hockey and soccer. I play in a hockey team and i used to play soccer when i was small. When there is a hockey game or a soccer game on i usually watch it because it keeps me entertained for about 1 hour or 2 when im bored.
